Online job boards can be a great way of finding work opportunities for contractors.
Depending on what industry you work in and the level of experience you have, some job boards may work better for you than others.
It’s likely that tailoring your CV and cover letter to match the specifications of the job you are applying for, will improve your chances of getting noticed.
As well as being an active searcher on job boards, sharing your details with recruitment agencies and umbrella companies are other paths to finding work for many contractors.

The professional social network, LinkedIn, is a job board giant with millions of job listings across all industries.
